Rana Dagggubati who rose to fame across India from the epic Baahubali film series will be the first time sharing screen space with his real-life uncle Venkatesh Daggubati who is also a big draw in the Tollywood industry.

The series is titled Rana Naidu and is said to be a remake of the popular American crime drama series Ray Donovan(2013), in which Ray the main character is seen as a fixer who arranges illegal activities like bribes, crime-scene clean-up, etc, and has wealthy clients. Things steered when his father releases from jail, and now they both are on the run from the police.

Along with the trailer release, the streaming platform announced the streaming date of this much-awaited series. Rana Naidu will available in Hindi and Telugu on Netflix from 10 March 2023.

Rana Naidu is a crime-drama series, directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma, Karan also serves as the showrunner of the show. It is made under the banner Locomotive Global Inc. The filming wrapped up in May 2022.
